Christmas Cookies with the Girls

One new thing we did this Christmas season was bake Christmas cookies with our nieces. We have been wanting to do something with just them for a while now and thought baking cookies and watching a Christmas movie might be a fun time.



First we watched Elf while our cookie dough thawed out on the counter.



Then we went to Belly Acres at Overton Square for dinner. Santa was there!



After dinner we walked back to our house to make the cookies!



I made the cookie dough (from How to Cook Everything) a few weeks back and put it in the freezer.  I'm not an icing person so we focused on cookie cutting and sprinkles.







It was a fun evening and we got cookies out of the deal! Win/win!
