Spring Garden Update

Happy Spring! It's officially spring time in Memphis and I am eager to play in the garden. Balancing garden and baby time will be a new challenge this year, but I'm determined to make it work.

Today I plan on making a more thorough to-do list so I can break it down in little tasks to sneak in during nap times.

But for now I thought I'd show off what's happening in the greenhouse.

The chives are looking oh so perky and full of spring promise. We don't even use chives very often but it did my heart good to see them this morning.

Two blueberry plants waiting for Bryan to clear out the bed they will go in.

Two more blueberries (back) and three blackberries (front) also waiting for a new bed.

And this! The first tomato sprouts! Amish Paste is the winner for first sprouts this year. A few more tomatoes are starting to sprout but I don't see any activity on my peppers yet. That's okay, though, as they  can take a few weeks.

I'm so exited to get back into the garden and relish this amazing weather.

What's going on in your garden?
