Goodbye

On Saturday Bryan and I said goodbye to our sweet baby girl, Bosco. To say that we are heartbroken is an understatement.

We find ourselves amazed at how she effected every little thing in our lives. From where we put things to how we hold a napkin. Our whole life has been turned upside down.

It will take a while for us to adjust to a new routine, the quietness of the house, and absence of such a fun dog.

Bathtime

Someone had a bath recently....

And someone didn't appreciate it.

Saturday Lolling About photos

Bosco and I had a lazy weekend. We laid around, lolled about, and took pictures of my favorite subject.

Wild flowers

We cleared out a bed in the backyward this winter. Since we weren't sure what to do with it (it was pre-landscaping plan) we sprinkled some wild flower seeds. We literally didn't do anything to it. No water, no dirt, nothing.

Bosco is not very impressed.

Bosco on a Saturday Morning

Saturday, fresh off a week of tough decisions regarding my baby, I decided to photograph her doing a few things she loves. Being in the family room with us.

Motley hung around for a little bit too.

Sisters

Motley Cat loves to cuddle with Bosco. She rubs up against her, flips herself over Bosco sometimes when she gets over-zealous, kisses, and cuddles with Bosco. She's much more affectionate with Bosco than with us. I'm only a little jealous.

Photographing the two of them being sweet can be tricky. Both of them know what a camera is and even know when we're taking pictures with our phones. They don't often allow us to capture their sweetness on camera.

Sunday they were being so adorable and even tolerated a couple of photographs.

Porch dog

Bosco has become quite the porch dog. She likes to be out there in the morning while I drink coffee and read.

She watches the happenings of the street.

Playtime

When the roads are icy and we have snow on the ground we've taken Bosco out to the front yard to play in the yard. We decided to try it again one evening recently.

Don't worry we were particularly obsessive about watching out for cars.

She loves having open space to run and play. Maybe one day we'll have a lake house with lots of yard for her to run around.

Until then, she'll always have the front porch.

Because I'm obsessed...

Bosco was looking ridiculous cute, as she always is, today. I took a couple of pictures because I couldn't resist.

I mean really.

Aren't my photography skills improving?!

New Toy!

My dad had a birthday this week. He gifted himself with a new fancier (than he already had) camera. Which means, he handed his old one down to me. SWEET!!!

I've been wanting a SLR camera for over a year now.

About five minutes after I got home I started playing. Prepare yourselves for a ton of pointless pictures! Tonights post: Bosco!

Auto

I love how it captures her true color.

Here she is waiting for me to throw her bone.

Note to self: vacuum before taking pictures of the carpet. This camera is too good.

A morning with Bosco

Since the Baddass and I both work full time, we usually leave Bosco outside while we're gone. On Saturday, I was off but the husband was working. So Bosco and I chilled at the house in the morning.

Bosco has developed a fascination with the bathroom. She knows how to open the door if we close it. She is constantly pulling things out of the trash can. I've found a couple of her toys in the shower.

But Saturday she had the worst bathroom obsession yet. I was in the kitchen reading and she wondered off for a few minutes. I call for her to stop whatever she's gotten into and she runs out with the husband's tooth brush in her mouth. Since it wasn't mine, I was amused.

Later she pulled the entire roll of the toilet paper off.

Even though she can get into mischief pretty easily, you can't look at her face without loving her.
